Kayla Faccilongo is a Bronx native multi-disciplinary vocalist known for her versatility in the styles of opera & jazz. 

 

In 2020, Kayla became a member of the BronX BandA, a Latin Jazz ensemble led by Grammy winning artist Arturo O’Farrill for the Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education. This summer, she joined the BandA in their second collaboration with the New York Philharmonic, performing at Damrosch Park as part of Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City. 

Kayla recently debuted the role of Salome in the world premiere of the jazz musical, The Wages of Sin & appeared in Off-Brand Opera’s “Spark” showcase. She also performed in Dell’Arte Opera Ensemble’s Finding Home Festival, where she sang the role of Madre Melchora in the East Coast Premiere of Juana by Carla Lucero & Alicia Gaspar De Alba. 

Kayla holds her Bachelor of Music from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College & Master of Arts from the Royal Academy of Music.
